Kyoto International Manga Museum

If yes, Kyoto International Manga Museum is the place that you should visit while you are inJapan. They offer many events and even you can see how Manga is drawn at the museum. It is pretty relaxing that you will never get tired of it if you like reading Manga. In fact, this museum owns an amazing number of manga that you can find almost any authors’ manga in here.
Kyoto International Manga Museum opened in December 2006 to research Manga culture from all over the world. The research include not only Japanese manga but also foreign manga culture and history, so eventually the number of manga that this museum owns reached over three hundred thousands of manga in this museum. When you enter the main gate, there is a museum shop that sells limited editions only in here.If you cannot read Japanese, they have French, Spanish, Korean, and other languages’ translations at Manga Expo.Through out a year, there are two or three special events being held. When I went to the museum, there was Seiki Tsuchida’s exhibition. You can see a professional manga writer’s work at a manga studio. You can read manga at any places in the museum.
There were also many more interesting collections of famous artists. But it was prohibited to take a photo of them because of the copyright issue. So you have to come to see the collections by yourself to see the value of the museum.Once you buy a ticket sold on the day,you can have free access to here in same day, so you can come back here after having lunch outside.
It would be a nice idea to spend a day reading your favorite manga on the grass!
